摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality total heat-transfer element having higher total heat-transfer performance and less stream leakage than conventional one.SOLUTION: A total heat-transfer element 1 includes: a plurality of unit elements 10 each having a partition plate 11; and ribs 21-23, 31-33 holding a space from another partition plate 11 adjacent thereto in a stacking direction and provided on both sides of the partition plate 11 so that flow paths on both sides of the partition plate 11 are perpendicular to each other, and stacked in the stacking direction while being each rotated 90 degrees to the other unit elements 10. The unit elements are each divided into first-fourth sections having the same shape. The shapes of the ribs provided in the first and second sections correspond to those in the third and fourth sections, when rotated 180 degrees in an in-plane direction of the partition plate 11, respectively, and the shapes of the ribs provided in the first and third sections are different from those in the second and fourth sections. In the flow paths formed between the unit elements 10 adjacent to each other in the stacking direction, a plurality of skip ribs 23 and connection skip ribs 33 having predetermined lengths are arranged at predetermined spaces on both sides of the partition plates 11 along extending directions of the flow paths.
