PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an automatic transmission capable of appropriately correcting a hydraulic pressure to be supplied to a lockup clutch with respect to only a region necessary for prevention of lowering of hydraulic pressure due to variable speed preparing pressure and capable of uniting both of suppression of sliding of lockup clutch and prevention of abnormal sound generation, in hydraulic pressure control of a lockup clutch upon the variable speed.SOLUTION: A control device of an automatic transmission determines whether a command of a variable speed with respect to a variable speed mechanism (2a) is outputted upon hydraulic pressure command of a lockup clutch (40) and, when the command of variable speed is outputted, a corrected hydraulic pressure (PA) is added to a control hydraulic pressure (P) of the lockup clutch (40). Then, a timer (TM) from addition start to completion of the corrected hydraulic pressure (PA) is set. The timer (TM) is set such that, after a variable speed signal is turned on, the addition of the corrected hydraulic pressure (PA) is completed before the variable speed is started by the variable speed mechanism (2a). |
