PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of preventing an abnormal noise from being generated when adjusting a height of a steering wheel, and capable of securing sufficient durability, and further without losing smoothness of adjusting a height position of the steering wheel.SOLUTION: Tabular covers 66, 66 are provided at four corners of a cushioning member 21c adhering to an inside surface of a driven side cam 15a, while covering a protrusion 39c, respectively. Portions near both upper and lower edges of both side surfaces in front and rear of the protrusion 39c are covered by these respective covers 66, 66, thereby preventing the portions near both upper and lower edges of both of the side surfaces in front and rear of the protrusion 39c from coming into direct joining with both of the edges in front and rear of long holes in an upper and lower direction provided in a stationary side bracket, between mutual metals. |
