PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deviation of time in a packet switch occurring when segment data passes through each of a plurality of switches.SOLUTION: A packet switch has an ingress unit, a switch fabric unit, and an egress unit. The ingress units each have a load share unit which, on the basis of a back pressure detection signal supplied from each of a plurality of switches and a transmission flag indicating whether segment data was most recently sent out to a plurality of links, selects and controls a link without back pressure and also a link with back pressure and having not sent out segment data most recently so as to send segment data.
