PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction and damage of a panel due to its fall.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle electronic instrument comprises: a body with a panel attachment/detachment part; and a panel attached to/detached from the panel attachment/detachment part. The panel attachment/detachment part is provided with a locking mechanism for locking the panel to the body, and a holding lever, rendered rotatable, for holding the panel when rotated in a holding position. By moving the panel in a predetermined direction with respect to the body, the panel is released from being locked to the body by the locking mechanism. When the panel is moved to the predetermined direction and released from being locked to the body by the locking mechanism, the holding lever is rotated to the holding position by means of inertia, and thus the panel is held by the holding lever. |
