PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardness testing machine capable of illuminating a test piece with an appropriate light volume corresponding to a magnification of an object lens even with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A position sensor 64 detects a rotation angle position of a revolver when one of object lenses moves to a position facing indentation at a test piece, and a control part 80 reads out the position signal. The control part 80 reads out a light volume that is stored in a storage part 81 and is required when an LED light source 41 illuminates the indentation, on the basis of the rotation angle position detected by the position sensor 64. The control part 80 controls a light volume adjusting part 69 so as to change the light volume of the LED light source 41 to a set light volume. |
