PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To digitize a dispersion state of a thickener in a grease composition, to more correctly evaluate performance of the grease composition, and thereby to support grease development.SOLUTION: A method in which a dispersion state of a thickener in a grease composition is digitized, and performance of the grease composition is estimated based on that and evaluated, includes imaging a phase image of the grease composition which remains in a semi-solid state to be performed by binarization; obtaining coordinate information of the thickener; and calculating a degree of dispersion and digitizing the dispersion state of the thickener. |
