PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting the position of hot-rolled materials is provided to accurately track the position of hot-rolled materials by detecting the weight of the hot-rolled materials passing through a roller table, thereby being automatically controlled even when having a lot of steam and residual cooling water. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting the position of hot-rolled materials comprises a weight detecting part and a control part. The weight detecting part detects the weight of hot-rolled materials at a weight measuring roller of a roller table(40). The control part detects the position of the hot-rolled materials by weight variation inputted from the weight detecting part. The weight measuring roller is arbitrarily selected among multiple rollers. |
