PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that enables causes for fuel inefficiency to be effectively eliminated.SOLUTION: The positions of fuel-inefficient sections, where the fuel efficiency of a vehicle in its past running is worse than a prescribed assessment level, and the fuel inefficiency causes to which the fuel inefficiency in the fuel-inefficient sections is attributable are acquired; and when the vehicle approaches one fuel-inefficient section which is a section for giving guidance in the current running, guidance is given to match the fuel inefficiency causes in the fuel-inefficient section.
