PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measurement device enabling noncontact measurement means to easily measure a length of a snaking measurement target drawn on a drawing sheet such as a drawing and a map.SOLUTION: A distance measurement device includes respective means for: receiving a scale ratio of a drawing; receiving a distance measurement start; receiving a distance measurement completion; irradiating with light; reading, as two-dimensional image, a pattern on the drawing by detecting reflection light therefrom; calculating a shift amount of a pixel position where the same pattern appears, on the basis of the read image information; accumulating a magnitude of shift of a pixel position during distance measurement processing; calculating a pre-scaling movement distance on the basis of the magnitude of the shift of the pixel position, a size of a photodetector and a scale ratio; and displaying the pre-scaling movement distance on a display device. |
