PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a paper feeding failure or an image defect due to overlapping of a precedent recording paper sheet and a subsequent recording paper sheet on a switchback carry path, without decreasing productivity of an image formation.SOLUTION: An image formation device, when forming images on both sides of a recording paper sheet, performs carrier control so that before the recording paper sheet P1 whose carrying direction is reversed by a pair of switchback rollers 54 passes through a switchback carry path 12, an end of a recording paper sheet P2 is carried to the switchback carry path 12 so that the recording paper sheet P1 contacts with the recording paper sheet P2. Further the device has a pair of carrying rollers 55 and a pair of carrying rollers 56, forward-reverse rotatable, arranged on a second carry path 13, rotates inversely the pair of carrying rollers 55 and the pair of carrying rollers 56 for a predetermined time just before the recording paper sheet P1 contacts the recording paper sheet P2 to inversely carry the recording paper sheet P1, therefore surely carrying the end of the recording paper sheet P2 into the switchback carry path 12 by contact resistance between the recording paper sheets. |
