PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of easily removing backlash between a worm shaft and a worm wheel with a simple mechanism.SOLUTION: The central axis of a ball bearing 25 for rotatably holding a worm shaft 15 is arranged in a holder member so as to be eccentric with respect to the central axis of the holder member, and the holder member is rotatably provided in a holder storage part 30 of a gear housing so that the worm shaft 15 moves in a direction engaging with a worm wheel 16.
