摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane ware prediction structure for a vane machine capable of predicting that a vane is approaching a ware limit causing abrupt performance degradation.SOLUTION: In a vane ware prediction structure, communication passages 30 are provided in a rotor 21, for communicating two different chambers 19a and 19b in a cylinder chamber 19, each relaying inside a vane groove 25. The relaying passage part is normally closed by a vane housed in the vane groove, and becomes opened when the ware of the vane progresses by a predetermined amount. With this configuration, when the wear of the vane progresses by the predetermined amount and the total length thereof becomes shorter, the passage that relays inside the vane groove and has been closed until then becomes opened to communicate the two chambers partitioned by the vane through the communication passages. Then, the operation of a pump changes from one delivering normal performance to another delivering substantially degraded performance. By the degraded operation thus intentionally induced, it can be predicted that the vane is in a state of approaching a ware limit.
