PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive device able to set a wait time required to start auto-loading of a disk, according to a use environment.SOLUTION: A disk drive device comprises: a storage part 7 configured to store a required time t0 needed until a disk A is taken out from an inject completion position after the disk A is injected to the inject completion position of the mechanism part 1; and a control part 8 configured to obtain a required time t0 corresponding to a use environment based on the required time t0 for a predetermined number of times stored in the storage part 7, and to determine, as a wait time ta needed to start auto-loading, the time in which a predetermined margin is added to the required time t0. If the disk A is not taken out before the wait time ta passes after the disk A is injected to the injection completion position, a loading drive part 4 automatically loads the disk A by driving the mechanism part 1. |
