PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a plastic deformation capability required for design while securing a shear yield load of a plate and attaining maintenance of a yield strength after shear yield by establishing a method of constituting a circular loop framework multi-layered circular metal plate to receive in-plane shearing.SOLUTION: As a structure of a metal plate which receives in-plane shearing and on which a compression load acts as needed, a circular loop frame member illustrated in Figure (a) is multi-layered by attaching circular metal plates to both front and rear surfaces of the circular loop frame member, surfaces of the multi-layered circular metal plate are made into pure tension surfaces, thereby attaining dynamic stabilization. The action of in-plane sharing as illustrated in Figure (b) corresponds to the action of a tensile force Pand a compression force Pindicated by solid line arrows orthogonal to an oblique 45° direction but these forces are balanced with an axial force of the circular loop frame member, and a stable tension field is constituted in the circular metal plate even from an initial stage of force application to after yield. In the circular loop framework circular metal plate, the yield strength is prevented from being reduced by plate buckling because of a reinforcement structure where the inside of a plate surface is brought into pure tension stress state, and a dynamic environment dominated by plate buckling up to the moment is changed perfectly. |
