摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for electrochemical capacitor which allows for production of such an electrochemical capacitor that can minimize damage and performance degradation by reducing the amount of gas generated, while ensuring excellent coulomb efficiency, and to provide an electrochemical capacitor.SOLUTION: In the manufacture of a hybrid capacitor 1, an electrolyte 5 is injected into a cell bath 6 so that a positive electrode 2 and a negative electrode 3 are immersed therewith, and an additive is added to the electrolyte 5. A mixture solvent consisting of a first solvent composed of ethylene carbonate and at least one kind of second solvent, selected from a group consisting of dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate and ethyl methyl carbonate, but not containing propylene carbonate is contained in the electrolyte 5, and a lithium salt containing an oxalate complex as anion, and (meth)acrylic acid ester of polyatomic alcohol are contained in the additive.
