PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device and an outboard motor that can suppress overheating of a catalyst.SOLUTION: A fuel supply device 40 comprises: an injector 41; a vapor separator tank 42; a first pipe 43; a second pipe 44; a high pressure fuel pump 45; a fuel pressure sensor 48; and an ECU 49. The vapor separator tank 42 stores fuel to be fed to the injector 41. The first pipe 43 passes fuel from an external fuel tank 1 to the vapor separator tank 42. The second pipe 44 passes fuel from the vapor separator tank 42 to the injector 41. The high pressure fuel pump 45 passes fuel from the vapor separator tank 42 to the injector 41 via the second pipe 44. The fuel pressure sensor 48 detects the pressure of fuel being supplied from the external fuel tank 1 to the vapor separator tank 42 via the first pipe 43. The ECU 49 decreases the rotation speed of an engine 10 when the pressure of fuel detected by the fuel pressure sensor 48 is smaller than a minimum pressure value P. |
