PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which detects input from a user and prevents erroneous detection caused by noise that is not the user input, with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An image formation device having a normal mode and a power saving mode in which power consumption is smaller than that in the normal mode comprises: an operation unit for accepting a designation from a user; a first detection unit which is disposed correspondingly to the operation unit and detects input in the normal mode; a mode control unit for controlling an action mode; a power supply control unit for controlling power supply according to the action mode; and a second detection unit for detecting input to the operation unit in the power saving mode. The power saving mode includes a first power saving mode and a second power saving mode in the case of executing a job in the first power saving mode. The image formation device further comprises notification means for causing an action state of the image formation device to be notified of in executing the job in the second power saving mode. Detection sensitivity of the second detection unit is adjusted in order to prevent erroneous detection accompanying noise in the case that the notification unit acts, in the second power saving mode. |
