PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce delay in screen update requests when receiving the requests from a plurality of remote terminals in an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: In a case where an image forming apparatus receives a request to alter a screen from a second terminal during connection with a first terminal, an image forming apparatus does not transmit graphic data for switching a display screen but transmits only graphic data (image data about a mark being selected) displayed in addition to the second graphic data, and display position coordinate data for it. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce load on processes for screen update requests for some remote terminals of a plurality of remote terminals. Even when screen update requests are received from the remote terminals, delay in the requests in the image forming apparatus can be mitigated.
