PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground green tea paste exhibiting a bright green color and capable of maintaining the color.SOLUTION: Provided is a manufacturing method of a ground green tea paste including a step of causing a mixture of ground green tea and water to have contact with copper at a pressure of 0.5-2.0 Mpa and a slurry-temperature of 100-150°C for 5 minutes to 5 hours, so as to obtain a ground green tea paste including 0.5-3 g of copper per 1 kg solid content of the ground green tea paste. There is also provided a ground green tea paste obtained with the method.
