PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrification device and an image-forming apparatus that reduce occurrence of uneven electrification by electrifying a photoreceptor without pressing conductive fibers implanted on an endless film against the photoreceptor.SOLUTION: Conductive fibers 22 electrostatically implanted on a film 21 contact a rotating photoreceptor 10 by electrostatic attraction force, and rotate with a feed member 23 in conjunction with the rotation of the photoreceptor 10. The conductive fibers 22 have a contacting region K in a lying state between them and a surface of the photoreceptor 10. The contacting region K becomes a contacting region Ka when low voltage is applied to the conductive fibers 22, but it becomes a contacting region Kb when high voltage is applied to the conductive fibers 22. The feed member 23 initially applies first voltage to the conductive fibers 22 so as to make the contacting region Kb. The feed member 23 applies second voltage to the conductive fibers 22 when a substitute value is equal to or more than a prescribed substitute value. |
