PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idle stop start controller of a trailer vehicle for appropriately executing prohibition processing of idle stop on an uphill road and a downhill road based on road gradient estimated by detection means equipped on the tractor side without equipping detection means such as an acceleration sensor on the trailer side.SOLUTION: During travel of a trailer vehicle, prohibition of idle stop is started (S12) at a point of time when a tractor A side enters an uphill road and road gradient &thetas; estimated by road gradient estimation processing becomes an idle stop prohibition start determination value &thetas;1 or more (Yes in S2). Then, the prohibition of the idle stop is released (S8) at a point of time when the tractor A side enters a flat road, the road gradient &thetas; becomes less than a prohibition release determination value &thetas;2 (Yes in S4), and a trailer vehicle further travels by a movement determination value L0 (Yes S18) after that. |
