PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for getting in and out of a vehicle by allowing a physically disabled person to get on and off the driver's seat from an access opening at the driver's seat side.SOLUTION: The seat device for a vehicle driver seat of the present invention comprises a seat main body 10 for a driver seat which has a seat cushion 11 and a seat back 12 and in which the seat back 12 is fixed in a driver seat position inside a vehicle cabin, and the seat cushion 11 is configured to be separated from the seat back 12 and movable, an arm rest 17 connected to the seat cushion 11, and a seat moving device 200 for moving the seat cushion 11 of the seat main body 10 between the driver's seat position and the getting on/off position outside the vehicle cabin through an access opening D at the driver's seat side. |
