Disclosed is a seed chuck of an ingot grower which grows an ingot in a seed by gradually increasing the seed from a crucible in which a raw material is melted. The seed chuck comprises a seed shaft whose one end part is combined with a rod of an elevating device which elevates the seed, and the other end part forms a seed combining part with which the seed is combined. The seed combining part comprises a hollow seed inserting groove which is formed into a pillar shape and into which one side of the seed is inserted; and a pin inserting hole which is formed through the seed inserting groove by penetrating the seed combining part. Accordingly, the present invention facilitates assembling processes, stabilizes structural characteristics, and symmetrically cools an ingot, thereby growing an ingot of good quality. |
