PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive image forming apparatus capable of reducing drum vibration and suppressing degradation in image qualities such as image density fluctuations, while maintaining easy mounting and dismounting property of a photoreceptor drum to an apparatus main unit.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a photoreceptor drum 1 comprising a photoreceptor 111 and a front flange 112 and a rear flange 113 respectively fixed to opening ends of the photoreceptor 111; and a drum shaft 130 disposed as a separate component, which supports the photoreceptor drum 1 and transmits rotational drive force of a drive source. An inner gear 116 and a serration gear 133 are disposed for transmitting the rotational drive force of the drive source to the rear flange 113 and the drum shaft 130. Clearances in fitting parts of A and B parts where the front flange 112 and the rear flange 113 are fitted, respectively, to a shaft member 131 of the drum shaft 130 are eliminated; and a shaft diameter of the shaft member 131 in an upstream side along the fitting direction of the photoreceptor drum 1 to the drum shaft 130 is reduced than the shaft diameter in each fitting part. |
