PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which is able to efficiently manage an optical disk that performs migration as required, by checking the record quality of data (archive data) recorded in an optical disk.SOLUTION: An error correction circuit 20 creates backup data by correcting the errors of the reproduction data of an optical disk 10. Also, the error correction circuit 20 measures the error rate and outputs it to a host PC 22. In accordance with the value of the error rate, the host PC 22 determines whether to perform migration or not. |
