PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an accident by an erroneous operation of a driver or to minimize accident damage when starting a vehicle without adding a new sensor to the vehicle detecting an obstacle on either one of a front side and a rear side.SOLUTION: When there are not a front obstacle and a front side structure and when a steering angle absolute value is less than a fixed value even if there is the front side structure, a threshold pattern E is selected (S4). When the steering angle absolute value is the fixed value or more, a threshold pattern D is selected (S5). When the front obstacle exists and forward-lowered inclination is less than a set value, a threshold pattern C is selected (S6). When the forward-lowered inclination is the set value or more and a distance to the front obstacle is larger than the set value, a threshold pattern B is selected (S9). When the distance to the front obstacle is the set value or less, a threshold pattern A is selected (S10). A determination as to whether accelerator stepping speed is a threshold or more is performed using the selected threshold patterns, and when the accelerator stepping speed is the threshold or more, control intervention for suppressing driving force is instructed (S12). |
