PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing degradation of an image caused by frictional electrification of a conveyance guide member due to friction with a body to be transferred over a long period of time.SOLUTION: It is checked whether or not a count value of the number of recording paper sheets P conveyed on a transfer exit guide member 103 exceeds a predetermined number (S1). When the count value is the predetermined number or less (NO in S1), the process progresses to an operation for image formation and recording paper conveyance as it is (S3). On the other hand, when the count value exceeds the predetermined number (YES in S1), a control part 110 resets a counter value and controls a motor 105a, to rotate an eccentric cam 105 by a predetermined angle and change the installation position of the transfer exit guide member 103 with respect to an apparatus body. |
