PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial flow type flow sensor capable of detecting a flow rate with high precision without being subjected to the influence of a flow direction and a velocity distribution.SOLUTION: A rectification part having a plurality of continuous holes is provided at the upstream side of an impeller that rotates by the flow of a fluid. In each continuous hole, a deformation part is provided that deforms into a direction in which the area of the continuous hole becomes smaller upon receiving the pressure of the fluid from the upstream side. Thus, at a portion having a large flow rate in a passage, the area of the continuous hole becomes small so that the flow is decelerated. Since the decelerated amount of the fluid goes to another portion, the flow of the portion having a small flow rate is accelerated. As a result, a flow direction and a velocity distribution at the downstream side of the rectification part become to have always the same state. The impeller can be rotated by such a flow, allowing the detection accuracy of the flow to be significantly improved. |
