PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a Q value of a coil by using a planar coil, and to considerably enhance the power transmission efficiency of power transportation from a power transmission side coil to a power reception side coil.SOLUTION: A power carrier comprises: an AC power supply 3; a power transmission side coil 1X resonating with a frequency of the AC power supply 3; and a power reception side coil 1Y having a resonance frequency equal to that of the power transmission side coil 1X, and to which power is carried from the power transmission side coil 1X. The power is carried from the power transmission side coil 1X to the power reception side coil 1Y by magnetic field resonance. The coil 1 is a multilayer spiral coil 10 configured by arranging a plurality of planar coils 11 each obtained by winding a lead wire 12 in a spiral shape on the same plane, in substantially parallel with one another. The multilayer spiral coil 10 is arranged so that an interval of the adjacent planar coils 11 is wider than an interval at which equivalent series resistance is equal to or less than 0.5 times of equivalent series resistance in a close contact state of the adjacent planar coils 11. |
