PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for controlling an enhancement amount of an edge enhanced by edge enhancement processing in accordance with saturation of an image subjected to the edge enhancement processing.SOLUTION: Edge enhancement processing is performed on each pixel of an image, a correction value for a pixel after the edge enhancement processing is determined in accordance with saturation of each pixel of the image, and a value of the processed pixel is corrected using the determined correction value. |
