PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial x-ray generation device that can be manufactured inexpensively and is compact and lightweight.SOLUTION: There is provided an industrial x-ray generation device 1 which generates X rays by causing electrons emitted from a filament 24 to collides against a target 25. A circuit which applies a tube voltage between the filament 24 and the target 25 and a high-voltage tank 2 which houses the circuit are provided. The circuit which applies the tube voltage has a Cockcroft-Walton circuit 22 as a boosting circuit and a voltage detection circuit 26 detecting a voltage in the Cockcroft-Walton circuit 22. At least one of conductive members 31a, 31b which suppress generation of a concentrating electric field in the high-voltage tank 2 is connected to a suitable place in the boosting circuit 22 and voltage detection circuit 26. An interval between at least one of the conductive members 31a, 31b and an inner wall surface of the high-voltage tank 2 is smaller than an interval between an electronic component such as capacitors C1, C2 and the inner wall surface of the high voltage tank 2. |
