PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system which has excellent communication speed.SOLUTION: A radio communication system comprises: a first base station device; a second base station device; and a mobile station device which communicates with the first base station device by using a first component carrier (CC) and communicates with the second base station device by using a second CC. The first base station device transmits disconnection preparation request of the second CC to the second base station device. A carrier aggregation communication determination unit of the first base station device determines disconnection of the second CC when a measurement result of information indicating an amount of communication is equal to or less than a threshold. When the carrier aggregation communication determination unit determines disconnection of the second CC, a disconnection preparation request unit of the first base station device transmits the disconnection preparation request to the second base station device. On the basis of the disconnection preparation request, the second base station device transmits disconnection request to the mobile station device to disconnect the second CC. In response to reception of the disconnection request, the mobile station device disconnects the second CC.
