PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard system with a body ECU and a vehicular illumination control system capable of automatically controlling a frontal illumination of a vehicle despite a relatively simple arrangement.SOLUTION: A smartphone 1 includes a camera lens 4, acquires image data of a frontal area of a vehicle from the camera lens 4 according to an image control program, and performs predetermined image recognition processing on the image data. Thereafter, the smartphone 1 performs contents-of-illumination determination processing for determining the contents of control of headlights 21, and outputs control information D1, which instructs the contents of control, to a body ECU 10. The body ECU 10 outputs a control signal S10 to the headlights 21 on the basis of the control information D1, and thus implements driving control in lighting or extinguishing of the headlights 21. |
