PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress response delay to approximately zero, as a low lift region intake time area is narrow in comparison with an output, and deviation of overlap has a great influence on an exhaust gas, in a case when VVL is applied at an intake side and a phase is variable at an exhaust side.SOLUTION: In the cam phase variable valve gear in which a phase of a part or all of cams coaxially disposed in parallel with each other is variable, a cam shaft is a double shaft, an inner shaft or an outer shaft, or the phase variable-cam is provided with a cam groove, the phase-variable cam is journaled to the outer shaft in a state of being fixed in the axial direction and rotatable in the phase direction, and the phase of the cam can be changed by a pin facing the cam groove by sliding the inner shaft in the cam shaft direction. |
