PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which is structured such that rigidity of a camera body is maintained even when the reinforcement member for connecting a mirror box to a main body member or a battery chamber is abolished and the size of the camera body is made small with the weight thereof reduced due to the reduction in the number of components.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a mount (2) with a lens detachably attachable; a mirror box (20) fitted with the mount (2); a main body member (30) fixed with the mirror box (20); an exterior member which covers a part of the main body member (30) and which is fixed to the main body member (30) or the mirror box (20); and a grip portion (9). The exterior cover (50) provides an abutting face between the mirror box (20) and the main body member (30), and the grip portion (9) is structured by the protrusion of the exterior cover (50). |
