PURPOSE: A method for preparing an onion extract by pressure cooking is provided to cheaply produce a large amount of hypoglycemic compositions containing high content ingredients which reduce blood glucose. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a hypoglycemic composition which enhances the content of an ingredient which reduces blood glucose comprises the steps of: performing pressure cooking of onions; collecting the extracted onion liquid; filtering the onion liquid; and repeating the processes.
