PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device capable of maintaining bearing performance over a long period while improving the sealing performance of a seal.SOLUTION: On the end outer periphery of an outward member 2, a tapered face 16 is formed having a predetermined inclination angle. A metallic ring 12 includes a cylindrical fitted part 12a externally fitted to a shoulder part 4e of a hub ring, a curved part 12b circularly formed correspondingly to the shape of a base part 6b, a disc part 12c extending from the curved part 12b outward in the radial direction and closely attached to a side face 6c of a wheel mounting flange 6, an umbrella part 12d isolated from the outer diameter of the disc part 12c relative to the wheel mounting flange 6 in the axial direction, and extending inclinedly outward in the radial direction, and a bent part 12e formed protruded from the umbrella part 12d outward in the radial direction. A seal member 17 is integrally joined to the bent part 12e. The seal member 17 integrally has a seal lip 17a extending inclinedly inward in the radial direction and is brought into slide contact with the tapered face 16 of the outward member 2. |
