PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire connector capable of suppressing erroneous cutting of a wire.SOLUTION: A wire connector 1 is equipped with a wire holder 6 for holding at least two wires, a contact 7A that electrically connects the wires with each other, and a body 4 that holds the wire holder 6. The wire holder 6 comprises first and second end surfaces 24, 26, and a wire holding section 25 including first and second holding sections 32, 33, 34, 36. Opening sections 34a, 36a capable of pulling out the wires are formed on the first end surface 24 of the second holding sections 34, 36. Abutting sections 34b, 36b for abutting ends of the wires thereon are formed on the side of the second end surface 26 of the second holding sections 34, 36. A protecting section 23 for protecting the wires is provided protruding from the first end surface 24 at a part of a peripheral section of opening sections 34c, 36c of the second holding sections 34, 36 on the first end surface 24. |
