PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply facility which secures a minimum amount of fresh water required for a person to survive without intentionally reserving the same even when water supply is cut off in a detached house and a multi-unit apartment building.SOLUTION: A water storage tank 1 is installed in a void or the like in a wall close to a water place in each house. The water storage tank 1 has an intake port 2 at an upper section thereof, an outlet port 3 at a lower section thereof and an air hole 12 at the upper section thereof with a float valve to open and close the same. The intake port 2 is connected to a water meter through a water pipe and the outlet port 3 is connected to a faucet through the water pipe. In normal time, the water storage tank 1 is filled up with water and air shut off by the float valve and thereby allowing water feed pressure to be maintained. When water supply is cut off and the float valve opens the air hole, water stored in the water tank 1 becomes available through the faucet. |
