PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear part vehicle body structure of a vehicle compatibly achieving rigidity of a vehicle body rear part and productivity.SOLUTION: A rear part vehicle body structure includes: a rear header 4 which includes a rear header inner 21 and a rear header upper 23 over an opening 5 in a vehicle body rear part and extends in a vehicle width direction; a rear pillar closed cross section part 14 which includes a rear pillar inner 11 and a rear pillar reinforcement 13 and extends downward; an upward opened groove part 7 which is formed in a joint between a vehicle width direction outside end of a roof panel 1 and a vehicle width direction inside end of a roof side rail outer 2a and extends in a vehicle body longitudinal direction. The rear header inner 21 is connected to the rear pillar inner 11, the rear header upper 23 is separately disposed to cover at least a part of the rear pillar reinforcement 13, and the rear header 4 is made continuous to the rear pillar closed cross section part 14. An extension part 24 is provided to extend from the vehicle width direction outside end of the rear header upper 23 to the vehicle width direction outside, and the extension part 24 is joined to the groove part 7. |
