PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video viewing history analysis method which, by analyzing information on video viewing history, can obtain an objective index usable in a search for video which suits a user's preference.SOLUTION: Provided is a video viewing history analysis method executed by a video viewing history analysis device having video viewing history information storage means in which a plurality of viewing history information composed of information on the spatial position of a screen to display a scene in video when viewed after selecting a desired scene from video of a size larger than the size of a display screen and information on the angle of view of the screen are stored. The method includes a similarity output step in which the plurality of viewing history information is read out from the video viewing history information storage means, the square measure of a common screen area among a plurality of screens of scenes selected from information on the spatial position of the screen and information on the angle of view of the screen in the plurality of viewing history information, respectively, is determined, and then the square measure value is output as similarity in the plurality of viewing history information. |
