PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten salt cell system which relaxes influence of a power load required for heating when activating the system.SOLUTION: A molten salt cell system 200, which can supply electric power to a load, comprises a molten salt cell B containing a molten salt as an electrolyte, a charging switch SW 2 capable of connecting the molten salt cell B to a normal power source PS1, a heater 14 for heating the molten salt cell B, and a control device 130. The control device 130 controls heating switches SW3 and SW4 allowing the heater 14 to be connected to either one of the normal power source PS1 and a dedicated power source PS2 so as to be able to select either one of a state of supplying electric power from the normal power source PS1 to the heater 14 and a state of supplying electric power from the dedicated power source PS2 to the heater 14, in which the state of supplying electric power from the dedicated power source PS2 to the heater 14 is selected till a predetermined condition is satisfied after activating the molten salt cell B. |
