ELECTRIC WIRE WITH TERMINAL, CRIMP TERMINAL, AND ANTICORROSION METHOD FOR ELECTRIC WIRE WITH TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce variation in a formation range and thickness of an anticorrosion coating at an end part of an electric wire by a simple anticorrosion method without using a mold, in an electric wire with a terminal, and to achieve both reduction in a required amount of a synthetic resin and stabilization of anticorrosion performance.SOLUTION: An electric wire 1 with a terminal comprises an electric wire 9, a crimp terminal 10, and an anticorrosion coating 8. The crimp terminal 10 has: a core wire crimping part 40 crimped to a bare core wire part 91 extending from an insulation coating at an end part of the electric wire 9; a contact part 60 connected to a partner side terminal; and a projection part 7 formed to extend into a space provided between the core wire crimping part 40 and the contact part 60. The anticorrosion coating 8 is formed of a thermoplastic resin, and formed to cover a part exposed from the crimp terminal 10 in the bare core wire part 91 of the electric wire 9.
