PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iris type light quantity adjusting device excellent in controllability without causing oscillation and abnormal sound problems due to fitting backlash with no slide friction increased.SOLUTION: The iris type light quantity adjusting device includes: a plurality of light quantity adjusting blade members for adjusting a light quantity; a ring-shaped drive member for driving the plurality of light quantity adjusting blade members; a drive arm for rotationally driving the ring-shaped drive member; a drive portion for rotating the drive arm; a base member for rotatably holding the ring-shape drive member; and energizing means for energizing the ring-shaped drive member and the drive arm to the rotational direction. The energizing means to the rotational direction is provided between the ring-shaped drive member and the base member. |
