PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of appropriately adjusting white balance of light projected by the projector, and further to provide a light emission control method in the projector.SOLUTION: A projector 1 comprises: a plurality of laser light sources 42 and 43; a projection section 20 that modulates light emitted by the plurality of laser light sources 42 and 43 and projects modulation light 28; a projection optical system 23 for optically changing a projection state of the modulation light 28 projected by the projection section 20; a projection optical system drive section 34 for changing a state of the projection optical system 23; a storage section 15 that associates the state of the projection optical system 23 with an adjustment value of a light emission amount of each of the laser light sources 42 and 43 for adjusting white balance of the modulation light 28 and stores the state of the projection optical system 23 associated therewith; and a PWM signal generation section 50 for adjusting the light emission amount of each of the laser light sources 42 and 43 on the basis of the adjustment value corresponding to the state of the projection optical system 23. |
