PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process source sound signals on each of multiple channels to effectively create a sound field having three-dimensional expanse and offering the sense of presence.SOLUTION: When calculating the signal levels of reverberation sound signals Y(t), Y(t) at the next point of time, a normalization unit 112 calculates the sum in absolute value of attenuation signals A(t), A(t) derived by attenuating the signal levels of source sound signals S(t), S(t) on L and R channels at the current point of time by a prescribed attenuation factor A. Subsequently, the normalization unit 112 normalizes the signal levels of reverberation sound signals Y(t), Y(t) at the current point of time with the calculated sum. Then, reverberation sound signal level calculation units 114, 114calculate, on the basis of the result of the normalization performed, the signal levels of reverberation sound signals Y(t), Y(t) at the next point of time by raising the degree of contribution of a source sound signal on the other individual channel higher, the larger the value of the normalization result. |
