PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to retrieve books more easily.SOLUTION: A user photographs a front page of a book by using a terminal device, and sends a photographed image to a server via a network. The server analyzes the photographed image sent from the terminal device to extract a feature point, retrieves in a book information DB on the basis of the extracted feature point, and acquires an ISBN corresponding to image data and a URL list associated with the ISBN as a retrieval result. The server sends the ISBN and URL list as the retrieval result to the terminal device. The user selects a desired URL on the terminal device 20 from the URL list sent from the server and accesses the selected URL, and requests the library storing the book in which the user photographed to allow lending reservation, copy request, and browsing of an electronic book of the book. |
