PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of accurately calculating the amount of intake air by correcting errors caused upon pulsation due to a response lag in an air flow sensor.SOLUTION: A control device for an internal combustion engine which calculates an amount of intake air based on an output value of an air flow sensor includes: a pulsation amplitude ratio calculation means 112 for calculating a pulsation amplitude ratio from pulsation amplitude quantity of the amount of intake air and an average amount of air; and a pulsation frequency calculation means 110 for calculating a frequency of pulsation associated with the number of rotations of the engine. Further, the control device for an internal combustion engine includes a pulsation error calculation means 113 for calculating a pulsation error by using the pulsation amplitude ratio calculation means and the pulsation frequency calculation means, and based on an amount of pulsation error correction calculated by the pulsation error calculation means, corrects the amount of intake air. The pulsation error correction means has a correction map composed of the pulsation amplitude ratio calculation means and the pulsation frequency calculation means. |
