PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recognition error correction method for correcting a voice recognition result of false recognition by a broadcasting receiver to a direction desired by a user, and to provide a broadcasting receiver applying the voice recognition error correction method.SOLUTION: A voice recognition error correction method and a broadcasting receiver applying the voice recognition error correction method are provided. The voice recognition error correction method of the present broadcasting receiver is configured to: when a user voice is input, recognize the user voice and determine a text corresponding to the user voice; when a user command for correcting the determined text is input, display a text correction User Interface (UI) having morphemes constituting the text and an indicator matched with each other; and correct at least one morpheme of the text determined by selecting the indicator of the text correction UI. Thereby, the broadcasting receiver can accurately correct a falsely recognized word to a word desired by the user. |
